Admissions Process

The Admissions Team looks forward to reviewing your application materials. We are confident that your child and family will be a wonderful addition to our school community. Students shall be admitted to St. Elizabeth School if they have a reasonable, well-founded hope of successfully completing the school’s program, provided there is space available.

In addition to reviewing a complete application, our school conducts an assessment of the child, according to their educational background and individual needs. This process ensures that the child is placed in the appropriate grade level, so that we can best meet your child’s educational needs.

Assessment for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten

For our Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, the key criterion for entry is the developmental and social readiness of the child. An appointment for the entrance exam will be arranged, once the school has received a complete application.

Assessment in Writing and Math for 1st - 8th Graders

All applicants entering grades 1 - 8 are required to take an entrance exam in writing and math appropriate to their grade level. An appointment for the entrance exam will be arranged, once the school has received a complete application.

Students with Learning Differences

Admission of students with learning differences will be dependent upon the school program’s ability to meet these needs. If a child was enrolled in another school, he or she may be placed in a lower grade as age appropriate, at the discretion of the school.

Non-discrimination Policy

Lumen Christi Academies welcome students of any race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or disability to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to all students in our schools.
